Ajoleblon...A Cajun Tale

This journal is a bunch of rants about nothing. Mostly lighthearted happenings in the life of a woman who is very simple and who wants for nothing but greatly appreciates whatever is given. You will find nothing profound here but hopefully something that will make you laugh and that's what I enjoy doing most. Being humorous. Fight all error, but do it with good humor, patience, kindness, and love. Harshness will damage your own soul and spoil the best cause.

Sick and tired

Don't you just love it when you feel like total crap?  You're sick and you feel like the best thing for you would be to lie down and die and forget the world.

Reality hits when you get home from work and you have a flyer in the mail for an advertisement for a funeral home.  WTF?

And  you look at the prices and realize no matter how bad you feel and how enticing it would be to die at that moment, you just can't afford it.

There used to be an old saying that said:
"All you have to do in Life is Die and Pay taxes"....................
Well its getting to the point where we cannot afford to do either ............

If I took a pass on that whole lie down and die thing, could I still forget the world for just a little while?

BWHAHAHAHHAHH!!   That's how I feel about the who dying thing!  It cost too damn much money to kick the bucket!  Hell, it's cheaper to send your kid to college!  Well, not really, but you know what I mean.

I told my kids that when I die.. just cremate me, and stick me in a box somewhere.  Shove me in the closet or throw me in a box in the garage.  I don't care.  Just don't spend all that insurance money on a damn ass funeral.  Do a small memorial and divide the rest up amongst yourselves.

The way my kids have been acting towards me lately, I don't think that will be a problem.  I'll be LUCKY if they find a place for me in the garage next to a box of nails.. hmmmph..

Hope you feel better!!

Hugs and love to you sister o mine! :)
