You will all be happy to know that I have finally returned to my senses. I have made a trip to the library and instead of wasting my time on dating, I will start doing what I enjoy the most: reading.
For a while, I was obsessed with dating but now I think I realize that there's more to life and when God is ready, I won't have to do a thing but be available.
So I'm off to read "the five people you meet in heaven" by Mitch Albom

I loved that book!!! Your right...............he will show up when you least expect it, mine did. Linda
That is true, when you least expect it, love shows up on your door step......
Maybe Reading is a good thing for now ???
PS: I never thought you lost your senses..................
I think you were just wanting what we all want..............
To be Loved............
Hang In There Darlin....
Well I've heard a ton of complaints about men, but rarely about books...so maybe you're on the right track?
It'll be all good in the end...I also hear you find what you're looking for just at the moment you stop looking.

I don't think you should give up on dating. Just hang out at the library, book stores and such and just meet some nice people as friends. You will find the right one eventually.

Hey sis... that's what I did! I gave up on dating.. and spent my time reading, and doing other things, and look what happened to me? I met Dan. Right out of the blue. Best thing that could have happened to me, and I wasn't looking. He was just there. Too little, for much to short of a time.. but well worth it...
Hugs,
Jackie

PS! I really want to read that book "The Five People You'll Meet in Heaven" too. I need to get my bahonkas there and find it!
I did enjoy that book, but be prepared to sob your eyes out at the end. At least I did!
I do prefer men over books though honey, but I agree that there is a time and purpose for everything under heaven.

Ok... when swearing off men and turning to reading to pass the time and enjoy oneself.....
Rule #1.... Don't read romances.
Rule #2.. Don't read sad stuff!
Rule #3.... Don't read self help books.
rule #4 ... Don't read books about "what Men want"...
Rule #5....DO read "He's just not that Into You"...
Rule #6.....I forget..... but I'm sure it was equally insightful...lol
